Lauren Roy (Tarleton State University) stormed to victory in the women’s 100m final in a wind assisted 11.03 that would otherwise have threatened the Irish record books.
Roy Completes Brilliant Sprint Double
Less than an hour after winning the women’s 100m, Roy returned to dominate the women’s 200m final in 22.79 and complete a remarkable WAC sprint double.
Lyons Times It Perfectly For Patriot League Title
Liam Lyons (College of the Holy Cross) produced a composed championship performance to win the Patriot League men’s 1500m title in 3:40.76.
