Watch: Ireland's European U18 Athletics Championship Medal Winning Performances

The European Athletics U18 Championships in Rieti offered an exciting glimpse into the future of Irish athletics, with more than 25 athletes wearing the green vest across four days of competition.

The team produced a string of impressive performances, reaching finals, setting personal bests and gaining valuable international experience. Three athletes also returned home with medals, as Lucie Cawley claimed silver in the girls' 2000m steeplechase, Emma Hickey secured silver in the girls' 1500m, and Isabelle Gaffney earned bronze in the girls' 800m.
