It rolls around quickly. Hard to believe it is Wednesday again and time for another look at the races happening across Ireland this weekend. As always, we are hunting out the events that you can still jump into at the last minute. Maybe you fancy testing yourself after a decent week of training. Maybe the weekend plans have gone up in smoke and you would not mind a wintry trot to clear the head. If the idea of a bib number and a bit of graft sounds appealing, you are in luck.
Below is a selection of races around the country that still have places available. We are well into winter now so the list is not as packed as other times of the year, but there are still a few cracking options if you want to get stuck in.

There you have it. Only a small handful of races knocking about this weekend, which is fair enough at the tail end of November. Things will spark into life from early December, with a full month of turkey trot chaos and Christmas jumper lunacy right across the island. Plenty of chances to stretch the legs, dodge the shopping crowds, and earn a few mince pies. Keep an eye on the weekly list as it will fill up fast.
