Races You Can Still Enter This Weekend Right Up To St Patrick's Day

The St Patrick’s weekend is nearly upon us. With the holiday falling on Tuesday the 17th this year, the racing calendar stretches right across the long weekend.

From Saturday races to Paddy’s Day events itself, there is a bit of everything on offer. Road races, trail outings, and even a serious ultra in Ulster. 

Below is a quick look at what is happening across the provinces.

Leinster

• 16th Mar. IMRA Crone Maulin Night 7.4K - Wicklow

Munster 

• 14th Mar. Caroline Walsh 5K - Clare
• 15th Mar. IMRA Mount Hillary 10.5K - Cork
• 15th Mar. Limerick 4M & 10M - Limerick
• 17th Mar. Croom 10K - Limerick

Connacht

• 17th Mar. Tubbercurry 5K & 10K - Sligo

Ulster

• 14th Mar. Castle to Castle 52.4M - Antrim
• 17th Mar. Crocus 5K - Monaghan

That is the St Patrick’s weekend racing in a nutshell. A solid spread of races across the island and a great chance to get stuck into the spring season.
