Euro U20s Day One – Irish Athlete Start Times & Streaming Info

The next generation takes centre stage today as the 2025 European U20 Athletics Championships get underway at Tampere’s iconic Ratina Stadium.
Team Ireland has sent a 38-strong squad to Finland, with plenty of medal hopes among them.
This venue holds special memories for Irish athleticsm it was here in 2018 that Rhasidat Adeleke, Sommer Lecky, Ciara Neville, Gina Akpe-Moses, and others delivered standout performances and medals at the World U20 Championships. Hopes are high that the class of 2025 can follow in their footsteps.
Among the names to watch is Conor Kelly in the men’s 400m, who will be looking to lay down a marker in his heat today.
