Euro U20s Day Two – Irish Athlete Start Times & Streaming Info

Day one at the European U20 Athletics Championships brought plenty of encouraging performances from the Irish team in Tampere with a strong showing across both track and field.
There were impressive qualifications for Conor Kelly and Seán Doggett, who both advanced from the men’s 400m heats, while Precious Akpe-Moses delivered two fantastic performances in the women’s 100m, storming through her heat and semi-final to book a place in tonight’s final.
In the field, Theo Hanlon secured his spot in the men’s shot put final, and Cian Crampton progressed to the discus final with a solid qualifying series. On the distance side, Cormac Dixon continued his good form by advancing from his 3000m heat.
It wasn’t to be for all of the Irish athletes, but the opening day brought plenty of positives to build on and Day 2 promises even more action, with another busy schedule across both the morning and afternoon/evening sessions.
