Providence’s influence doesn’t stop there. Jane Buckley steps up for 5000m duties, while Cormac Dixon takes on the 3000m, joined in that event by Iona’s Muireann Duffy.

The 800m fields, in particular, continue to fill out with Irish names, as Conall Rogers of Northeastern University and Holy Cross athlete Liam Lyons further strengthen the lineup.

There’s also Irish representation across the mile, with Iona’s Scott Fagan set to compete alongside Cara Laverty in Providence colours and Grace Weigele of Stony Brook.

And to round things off, Providence once again features through Anna Gardiner, who is also scheduled for 5000m action.
