It’s a packed Saturday across Europe with Irish athletes spread from Bergen to London, chasing medals, ranking points, and in some cases, just clean execution.
Day 3 of the European U23 Championships takes place in Norway, with five Irish athletes confirmed to compete, four of them in finals. After a golden night yesterday thanks to Anika Thompson in the 10,000m and Nicola Tuthill’s silver in the hammer, hopes are high for more podium visits.
Meanwhile, over in the Diamond League and Continental Tour circuit, there's a serious amount of Irish representation across five meets, with big names like Rhasidat Adeleke, Sarah Healy, and Brian Fay all in action.
Before you build your day around it, a gentle reminder: start lists are a bit like weather forecasts, not always reliable. Athletes can scratch, switch events or just disappear without warning. On we go.
