Mark English is on the start list for the 800m in the World Athletics Continental Tour which rolls into the iconic Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing, home of the 2008 Olympics Track and Field event.
English’s 2025 season has been fantastic so far. He’s twice broken his own Irish 800m record, smashed his way into the sub-1:44 club, and claimed his tenth national title over the distance. He remains the undisputed master of men's the two-lap event in Ireland and will be looking to test himself one more time before the start of the World Athletics.
