Outdoor Action Continues For Irish Athletes Across The U.S. Collegiate Circuit

The U.S. collegiate outdoor season keeps rolling this week, with another stacked schedule of meets across the country and a strong Irish presence spread coast to coast.

After a lively opening weekend, attention now shifts to a fresh round of competition, with athletes stepping into everything from sprint relays in Texas to distance battles out in California.

Texas Relays

Austin, Texas | Wed April 1st – Sat April 4th

One of the biggest meets on the U.S. collegiate calendar, the Texas Relays always draws a serious standard, and this year is no different with a strong Irish contingent involved.

Lauren Roy (Tarleton State University) lines up in both the 100m and 200m, while Conor Kelly (University of Texas) competes on home turf in the 200m and Distance Medley Relay.

Sean Aigboboh (University of Houston) is set for relay duties in the 4x100m and 4x200m, with Susie Nestor (Rice University) competing in the 4x400m relay.

Kate Doherty (Dundrum South Dublin AC) has a busy schedule, doubling up in the 400m hurdles and the 4x400m relay.

Siún Quinn (University of Illinois) lines up in the high jump.
