Raftery & Akinola Return to the Track Today for World University Games Semis - How to Watch

Following a strong opening day for Ireland at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Rhein-Ruhr, Germany, Jack Raftery and Bori Akinola return to the track today looking to secure spots in their respective finals.
Raftery impressed yesterday with a composed run to win his 400m heat in 46.39, while Akinola powered to second place in his 100m heat with a sharp 10.49, both safely advancing to today’s semi-finals.
It’s just the two Irish athletes in action again today, but with high stakes: Akinola’s 100m final takes place later this evening if he progresses, while Raftery’s 400m final is set for tomorrow.
