It was a fantastic weekend for Irish athletics, with a host of athletes producing standout performances at home and abroad. The stars of the show were undoubtedly the under-20s, with several making finals and even securing a gold medal, as you’ll see below. On top of that, a number of Irish athletes booked their places for next year’s European U26 Championships in Birmingham. Irish talent was also on display in Belgium, Serbia, Poland across Continental Tour events, showcasing depth and class in a range of events.
