World University Games Day 4: Full Irish Schedule, Start Times & Where to Watch

It’s Day Four at the FISU World University Games in Rhein-Ruhr, and all eyes are on Kate O’Connor as she continues her superb heptathlon campaign. After a phenomenal first day where she excelled in the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m, O’Connor sits first overall and in pole position for a potential gold medal.
She’ll resume action today with the long jump, javelin, and 800m, needing three more strong performances to seal a podium place, ideally at the very top.
Also flying the flag for Ireland is Lauren Roy, who lines up in the 200m semi-final this evening after a confident run yesterday that saw her finish second in her heat.
Unfortunately, Jack Raftery just missed out on a medal in the men’s 400m final yesterday, finishing a close fourth after a strong campaign.
