Silver for Danny at National Masters:

Super Congrats to Danny Meaney who earned a Silver medal at the National Masters Track & Field Championships in Tullamore ,Co Offaly last Saturday July 26th in the Mens O/45 Long Jump, saving his best jump for last with a distance of 5.12m. Conor Keating was also in action for the club, competing in the Masters O/35 5000m, placing 10th in 17:25. Well done Danny and Conor.

 

County 10 Mile Road Championships Result:

Sunday, July 27th, was another great day of running for the club at the Tipperary 10 Mile Road Championships in Fethard. It marked the last road race in the County championship calendar for 2025. The club had a good turnout of 8 athletes running, 5 of whom set new personal bests for the distance. County Senior 10K champion Mossy Bracken led the club home with a good run after a long season in 4th place in 57:36, Conor Keating was next home after running the National Masters track the day before ran well In 6th place and won Bronze in the Mens O/35, Our 3rd scorer was Sean Healy in his first race back for the club in a while and he made it a good one setting in new PB and placing in 19th place in a time of 66:01, Shane Mullaney was our 4th man home with a steady run in 23rd place in 66:35. This quartet combined well to win the Silver medals in the team competition in what was a close contest. Our next runner crossing the finish line in 30th place was Liam Meaney who continues to improve with each race setting a new personal best of 68:11. Paudie Guidera ran well too in 34th place setting a PB of his own in a  time of 68:48, Conor Moore completed the trifecta with a good race running a personal best of 77:51 in 58th place and was 3rd scorer for the team in the B section with Liam, Paudie & Conor winning the Bronze medals, Christina Hayes was our only female representative and she made history in winning Gold in the Women's O/35 Congrats Christina, A great day for the club Well done to everyone, Many thanks to Fethard AC for hosting a fine race and to all the officials and volunteers in tipperary-athletics , Thanks to Susan Parker Laste and Michael Bracken for photos.

 

Best of Luck in the Ireland Track & Field:

The blue ribbon event in National Track & Field Athletics takes place this Saturday & Sunday, August 2nd & 3rd in Morton Stadium in Santry, Dublin. It's a great honor for the club to be represented again this year, The very best of luck to David Ryan & Oliver Clarke in the Men's 400m & to Seán Mockler in the Men's Hammer Throw. May the wind be at your back.

Clogheen 5k Thursday July 31st 8pm.

All Ireland Senior Track & Field Championships Aug 2nd & August 3rd, Morton Stadium Dublin.

Borrisokane Run with Dunne 5k open road race Sun Aug 3rd.Cillian Dunne is a T54 wheelchair racer from Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland. He competes nationally and internationally, and has won multiple titles in various events including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m races. There is also a 1km Para Inclusive race for Juveniles (u12s).

 

Track Development Update :

Great to see the brilliant progress being made at our club grounds over the summer months 
Within the coming weeks, the club grounds in Littleton will have the following facilities in place:
✔️ 400m hard-standing gravel track
✔️ Flood lights for the winter months
✔️ An outer loop cross-country course

✔️ Outdoor exercise equipment
