Moyne AC-Bronze For Michael Doyle in 2k walk at National T&F Finals in Tullamore

On Saturday last  Michael Doyle took to the track at the end of the programme in the boys u15 2000m race walk. Michael has made excellent progress over the last number of years and is by now no stranger to national competition. As the rain just finished pouring, it was a wet track as Michael took to the start line. Michael worked well with a pack of fellow walkers through the opening laps of the race. Michael was still in contention heading into the final lap of the race, maintaining his strong technique and fighting hard. Michael finished strong with a time of 11.50.88 and a new pb. His consistent technique earned him a national bronze medal! Congratulations Michael!.
