Moyne AC Notes – July 20th

National Track & Field League Final, Tullamore.
The National League Track & Field final will be held in Tullamore on Sunday next, this is Tipperarys fifth year in a row the women's team have reached the final. Tipperary are defending champions from 2024, as in previous years Moyne will be well represented on the Tipperary squad, Emma Delaney, sister Kate, Alana Spillane and Katie Bergin 2024 captain currently carrying an injury. Kate Delaney is in her second year on the squad will be our steeplechase contestant, Emma Delaney ran 4x400m and 400m flat in the Preliminary Round. Alana Spillane collected six points for Tipperary in the 3000m in the Preliminary Rd. who is in flying form presently will hopefully reproduce it on Sunday next. Katie Bergin is unlikely to make the start line due to injury. Six teams have qualified for The Inter County Women's Premier Division Final, Tipperary, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Louth and Sligo. Moyne are also represented on the management team by Martin Flynn, Team Manager and Geraldine Hickey Assistant Manager, wishing everyone all the best on Sunday next.
