Moyne AC -Strong Performances at Munster U13–U19 Track and Field Championships

Munster U/13 - U19 T& F Championships, MTU, Cork.

The Munster U/14 -19 Track and Field Championships were held in MTU Cork on Saturday and Sunday, the club were well represented across many events,  gold for Alana Spillane in the 3k U/18 and silver in the 1500m, 4m 54.92s (PB).  Gold for Michael Doyle in the u/15 walk. Double bronze for Gerard Delaney in Javelin and high jump. Emma Delaney, took silver in the U/18 400m clocking 62.78s and her twin sister Kate ran a new PB in the 2k Steeplechase to take silver in a time of 8m.33.49s. Isabelle Murphy won silver in javelin, not to be outdone her sister Faye won silver in the javelin also with a final  throw of 25.47m (PB) recording three pb's over the two days.  Helen Renehan bronze in the High Jump. Doireann Quinlan, silver U/13 2k Walk.  Girls U/18 4x400m won gold. Overall a very good weekend for the club with many personal bests achieved also. Results at a glance, at time of going to press.

Munster Juvenile B Track & Field Championships Templemore.

The Munster Juvenile B U/9-U16 B Track & Field Championships will b held in Templemore on Saturday next, Best of luck to all competing. 

National Children's Games & U12 Championships

Tullamore is the venue on Sunday next for National Childrens Games and U/12 championships, The club will be represented by Caoimhe Quinlan & Aisling Costigan competing in the U10 Long Jump pairs and Annabelle Butler & Poppy Shanahan in the U11 60mts pairs, also the Girls U11 4 x 100mts Relay team recently crowned Munster Champions.
