It was a weekend to remember for Bree AC at the All-Ireland Schools Athletics Championships, held in Tullamore, with athletes showcasing their talent on the national stage.

🥇🥇 Ava Wilson Claims Double Gold

Ava Wilson, representing St. Mary’s New Ross, delivered two exceptional performances to claim double gold in the Junior Girls category:

  • Long Jump – 1st place with a leap of 5.17m
  • High Jump – 1st place, clearing 1.63m

This remarkable achievement marks Ava as one of the standout performers of the championships and highlights her growing potential in both track and field events.

💪 Strong Performance from Lea Bolger

In the Intermediate Girls Hammer Throw, Lea Bolger (Loreto Wexford) produced a powerful series, finishing 4th overall with a best throw of 43.63m. Though just outside the medals, it was a strong result in a highly competitive field.
