WATCH: The Moment Bori Akinola Broke the Irish Indoor 60m Record Last Night

What an indoor season Bori Akinola is having.
It started in France in January, where he clocked a blistering 6.59 over 60 metres, just two hundredths of a second outside Israel Olatunde’s Irish record. That run also secured his qualification for the World Indoor Championships in Poland next month.
He backed it up with another win in Glasgow last week, showing the consistency was there.
Then in Belgrade last night, he went one better. Akinola dipped under Olatunde’s time, shaving three hundredths of a second off the previous mark to set a new Irish 60m indoor record of 6.54.
