How to Follow NI Athletes on Day Two of The Commonwealth Games Athletics

Day two of the Commonwealth Games Athletics programme belongs to one athlete from Northern Ireland. All eyes will be on Kate O'Connor as the Dundalk/Newry heptathlete commences her bid for Commonwealth gold in Glasgow.
O'Connor arrives in outstanding form after an exceptional 18 months, collecting championship medals across the Olympic, World and European stages. Having claimed Commonwealth silver in Birmingham in 2022, she now has a golden opportunity to go one better after defending champion Katarina Johnson Thompson withdrew from the Games through injury, leaving O'Connor among the leading favourites for the title.
