Road Running
Ballintotis Fit4Life Shines at Cork City Marathon

Ballintotis Fit4Life had a fantastic showing at the Cork City Marathon 2025, with members taking part across all distances—the 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. It was a memorable day out for the club, full of strong performances, plenty of PBs, and great camaraderie at the finish line.
The club praised the Cork City Marathon organisers for a brilliantly run event, highlighting the excellent stewarding, generous water stations, and the support from locals who came out with oranges, jellies, and garden hoses to keep runners refreshed in the heat. The atmosphere on the day reflected everything that makes this race so special.
“We’ll definitely be back next year,” the club said after the event.
A Moment of Reflection
Ballintotis Fit4Life also took a moment to share their deepest condolences following the tragic news of Ellen Cassidy’s passing. The club expressed heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
“We were all deeply saddened to hear about this. May she rest in peace.”
