After a brief break that felt more like a full-blown off-season, the Diamond League is back this Saturday, July 5th and it's rolling into Eugene, Oregon, better known as TrackTown USA for the Prefontaine Classic. The last three meets came in a flurry (Oslo on 12 June, Stockholm on the 15th, and Paris on the 20th), so this one feels like it's been a long time coming.

Home to Hayward Field, Eugene isn’t just a city, it’s a shrine to track and field athletics.

Sarah Healy is back in the 1500m after a brilliant second-place finish in Paris, a race she potentially could've nicked. She’s been in a rich vein of form this outdoor season.

Rhasidat Adeleke returns for her fourth Diamond League appearance of the season. Her last outing was Stockholm on June 15th, where she finished sixth over 400m. A big run is surely due.

Paris Paralympian Shauna Bocquet also takes to the track in Eugene, competing in the Para 800m.
