After a brilliant week for Irish athletics, all eyes turn to the Bislett Games in Oslo tonight (Thursday June 12th), part of the Wanda Diamond League circuit. We broke down the Irish interest in yesterday’s preview and there’s already been an early result to report.

Orla Comerford got things rolling yesterday evening, storming to victory in the pre-programme para 100m. Comerford tore up the track, winning and clocking a personal best of 11.87.

Irish Athletes in Action Tonight

🏃🏿‍♀️ Rhasidat Adeleke - Women's 400m
⏰ Scheduled for 7.04pm (Irish Time)
Ireland's triple Euro medallist makes her highly anticipated return to the Diamond League tonight. Can the Tallaght woman open her season with another win, just like she did in Monaco last year?

🏃‍♂️ Mark English - Men's 800m
⏰ Scheduled for 7.19pm
After lowering the national twice in two weeks including a superb 1:44 run in the Netherlands, the field tonight is a massive step in class, he'll need to be at his very best to stay in the mix.
