Watch: Irish Athletes Lower Three National Records at the Weekend

It was a weekend to remember for Irish men’s athletics, with not one, not two, but three national records broken across different events. From established stars to rising talent, the performances came thick and fast.
We’ve gathered the key moments below, three clips, three records, one very satisfying watch.
1. Senior Men’s 4x100m Relay
A huge moment in Maribor as the Irish senior men’s 4x100m team smashed the national record for the second Saturday in a row, clocking 38.88 seconds at the Euro Team Championships Division 2.
2. U20 Men’s 400m – Conor Kelly
In Mannheim, Conor Kelly lit up the track with a blistering solo run of 46.06 seconds to lower the Irish Under-20 record for 400 metres at the Bauhaus Juniors Gala.
3. U20 Men’s 4x400m Relay
Still in Mannheim, the Irish Under-20 men’s 4x400m team of Conor Kelly, Alex Cullen, Sean Doggett and David Davitt combined brilliantly to set a new junior record of 3:08.31 on Sunday.
