Congratulations to LAC’s Philip McHugh who won The Streets of Ballyshannon road race in a superb time of 15:32. An outstanding achievement by Philip in a competitive race.
The Gaelscoil 3km and 5km road races were very well supported by LAC runners.

The Hickey, Clarke & Langan Inter Firms 5km is scheduled to take place on Tuesday the 14th May 2024 at 7.30pm from Diver’s Hyundai on Canal Road, Letterkenny while the countdown is on to the 2024 North West 10km charity run and walk on the May 6th.
All entrants will receive a North West 10k t-shirt and the first 1,000 entries will receive the new 2024 North West 10k t-shirt register at https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024.
Thank you to Donegal Person of the Year Moya Brennan who will be our Special Guest to officially get the runners and walkers on their way on Monday, May 6th in Letterkenny.
Congratulations to Marie Boyle and Gary Kearns on the birth of their beautiful baby girl from all club members.
LAC meets Tuesday 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval running session, Thursday evening for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a long run.
All runs start at the Aura. All levels catered for and encouraged.
Fit 4 Life which is run by LAC in conjunction with the Donegal Sports Partnership takes place every Monday at 5.45pm on the track at the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny.
The aim of the programme is to reach out to those who wish to improve their fitness and all are most welcome any Monday they choose to attend.
Fit 4 Life is not about speed but fitness and the coaches from LAC particularly welcome newcomers.
