Loughrea is set to host the fourth leg of the Galway 5km Series this evening, Tuesday, 14th May. With an eagerly awaited 8pm start time, runners are gearing up for an evening of adrenaline-pumping racing.
Participants are reminded to arrive punctually and bring their race numbers, to be worn visibly on the front of their T-shirts or singlets. For those yet to collect their race numbers and T-shirts, arrangements have been made for distribution near the start line between 7pm and 7:30pm, ensuring a smooth start to the event.
Organisers have taken care to provide facilities for the comfort of runners, with toilets conveniently located near the start line. These arrangements reflect the attention to detail that makes the Galway 5km Series a favourite among runners of all levels.
Colm McAllen, one of the key figures behind the Galway 5km Series, highlighted the dedication of a select group of runners who have attended every leg of the series since its inception. These dedicated individuals will mark their 97th leg in Loughrea this evening, a testament to their commitment and passion for running.
