The Tipperary Co. Indoor Track & Field Championships were held in Nenagh on Sunday last, those were the first championships to be run on the newly re-laid surface on both the inner and outer track, it is now without doubt one of the faster indoor circuits in the country. Great credit must go to Nenagh Olympic committee for undertaking such a major project. We had seven athletes takin part in both track and throws events.Naomi Morrissey C/45 got her '24 season off to a flying start, winning both the Shot 7.19m and WFD 5.08m, Naomi heads to Athlone for National Masters next weekend. National Masters Championships

The National masters will take place in Athlone on Saturday next 13th. January, Naomi Morrissey and Ber Spillane are no strangers to this level of competition both being gold medal winners in recent years, Ber will compete in 60m, 200m and 400m, a rather busy schedule. Naomi goes in the shot and WFD. (weight for Distance).

National League Round 2
