Moycarkey Coolcroo AC Notes - March 17th

Bronze & Silver for Club at County Juvenile Indoor T&F:

Day 1 of the County Juvenile Track and Field Indoor Championships took place in Nenagh Olympic stadium last Sunday March 16th. The day saw great performances from all our athletes who have showed their dedication in training the past few months, The Girls U9s got the club off to fantastic start with two athletes from Moycarkey Coolcroo in the medal positions in the same race Lauren Casey running a great race to win Silver in 10.48 seconds and Millie Healy running super run too in 10.77 seconds the winner of the race Tara O'Flaherty ran 10.38 seconds which shows how close & fast the race was with only milliseconds seperating the three. Charlie Ryan and Jack Moloney also gave spirited performances in the Boys U9s 60m which will stand to them in the future. In the Boys U12s 60m Sean Casey ran a strong race placing 7th in a good time of  10.13. The Girls U10s 500m was another very close race with only milliseconds seperating the medal placings Evelyn Russell gave a valiant run running a great race in 4th place in 1:49.23. We commend all our athletes on the day who represented the club and thanks to all the coaches and parents who helped out.
 

Fit 4 Life Group at Templemore Parkrun:

A number of our Fit4Life group travelled to Templemore Parkrun last Saturday morning to complete the 5k course. It was a lovely morning and everyone ran brilliantly, with many runners improving their times after working hard over the last two months. Fantastic progress all around! We will be taking a short break this Monday March 16th for St. Patrick’s Day ,The next training block will begin on 23rd March, when we start preparing for the summer 5k and 10k runs. 
New members are always welcome and all fitness levels are catered for, so if you’re thinking about getting started with running, this is the perfect opportunity!
 

Club Clothing This week:

The Clubs Annual clothing collection fundraiser takes place this Thursday and Friday March 19th & 20th from 6pm to 8pm at our club grounds in Littleton ,A good time to spring clean & offload any clothes and footwear you no longer need while raising money for future development of the club. Thank you for your support.

Littleton Labyrinth 10 Mile Countdown is on:
 In association with The Tipperary County Council The Labyrinth race is only a couple of weeks away taking place from the Horse & Jockey Hotel on Sunday March 29th at 9:30am.
