Moycarkey Coolcroo Athletic Club are delighted to be bringing the Jungle Fundraiser to The Dome, Thurles on Saturday The 22nd of November 2025
This epic event will see 24 brave contestants will undertake various tasks & challenges similar to the popular TV show ''I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here'' in order to be crowned King or Queen of Moycarkey Coolcroo Athletic Club. Tickets for the event are €25. All Monies raised will go towards our future Development of an Olympic Track at our club field in Littleton.
The Red team is led by known Jockey & commentator Emmett McMnamara who had a notable win on the Horse Serpentine at the 2020 Epsom Derby, In recent times he is known for his running acumen too with neighboring club Fethard AC, Winning numerous races around the County, & recently crowned Munster Novice Cross Country Champion.
The Blue Team will be lead by Rhys Shelly fresh off his All Ireland success with Tipperary where he made history as the first Goalkeeper to score in an All-Ireland hurling final. He has links with Moycarkey Coolcroo as he ran as a Juvenile athlete with the club.
