The IMRA Leinster League continues its exciting run this evening with the highly anticipated Church Mountain race. As the penultimate event in this popular midweek series, the race has captured the enthusiasm of participants and spectators alike, with the series proving to be a massive success this year.
Tonight’s challenge will unfold over a 9.55km course with a 545m elevation gain, which translates to a 7 on the IMRA Difficulty Scale. Runners will tackle a course designed to test their endurance and technical skills as they navigate Church Mountain. The race will officially commence at 7:30pm.
For those eager to start a bit earlier, there will be an early start option at 7:00pm. Additionally, a junior course, tailored for younger runners, will kick off at 7:35pm. The junior route will cover approximately 5km and will start about 300 metres up the track from the main starting point.
Liam Mooney will be at the helm as the Race Director for this evening’s event. With excitement building and runners ready to hit the trails, the Church Mountain race is poised to deliver yet another memorable chapter in the IMRA Leinster League.
