Killarney Valley AC Weekly Report

Killarney Valley AC had a big weekend of Track & Field Athletics on the International and National Circuit. Jordan Lee competed in the High Jump in the AAI International Games in Dublin kicking off his Paris 2024 qualification period and he aced it with a massive indoor Personal Best of 1.92m obtaining the Paris 2024 High Performance Standard.

Sarah Leahy competed in the 60m in the International De Catalunya Meet in Sabadell Barcelona. Sarah won her heat and came 2nd place in the final with another fast 7.41secs.

Oisin O’Regan competed in the U20 Heptatlon which includes 7 events over 2 days. Oisin did fantastic, gaining a National Bronze Medal along with 6 personal bests. He ran 7.63sec PB for 60m, jumped 5.31m for Long Jump, he threw 9.57mPB for Shot Put, High Jumped 1.69m PB, vaulted 2.90 PB the Pole Vault and ran 1K in 2m58s PB (3727pts PB).
