Set Your Goals for 2025 Now:

Setting a Goal to aim for throughout the year is a good way to stay motivated whether it's completing your first 5km or a marathon(42km) attaining a new personal best or just getting out and exercising more and recovering by getting adequate sleep making small steps now can manifest to larger accomplishments and health benefits down the line. A Top tip would be to look up a race or an event you would like to take part in and enter now as many big races like the upcoming John Treacy 10 Mile on Feb 2nd in Dungarvan, The Dublin Marathon in October, The Valencia Marathon in Spain in December are already sold out months in advance.

 

Recent Results:

Conor Keating ran the Athletics Live Track Event at the National Indoor Arena in Abbotstownm, Dublin on Wednesday night Jan 15th placing  3rd in his heat in the Men's 800m race in a time of 2:16.69.Well done Conor.

 

Fit 4 Life: 
Fit4Life Training for Women & Men Continues Every Monday 7:15pm. Suitable for walking, jogging and running. New joiners always welcome.All you need is a pair of runners - see you then! eircode E41 A0V5.

 

Juvenile Training: 

Returns to our regular schedule Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm tp 8pm from our club grounds in Littleton. €2 per session, New members Always welcome. Recommended starting age of 6 years and older. Check our social media pages for updates.

Membership Renewal:

Athletics Ireland membership for 2025 is now due for Juvenile and Senior members and can be renewed via the online portal https://membership.athleticsireland.ie. Membership enables athletes to be Insured for the year and registered for any County,Munster and National events in 2025.

 

Fixtures:

The County Tipperary Road Season 2025 starts on March 9th with the Novice championships hosted this year in nearby Boherlahan with distances of 3km for the Women's Race and 6km for the Men's race.
