Corofin Loop 2025: One of Galway’s Favourite Races Returns
The Corofin Loop returns to Galway in 2025 following last year’s sell-out success. Both the 8k and 10-mile events reached full capacity in 2024, with 500 runners taking part.
For 2025, organisers have increased the entry limit to 600 places, giving more athletes the opportunity to line up on the start line this November.
Event Details
Date: Sunday, 2nd November 2025
Location: Corofin, Co. Galway (just five minutes from the M18 motorway)
Distances: 8k & 10-mile
Entry prices: Early bird until midnight 31st Aug: €20 & €30, From 1st Sept: €25 and €35
Registration Closes: 29th October
Both races are fully chip-timed and professionally marshalled, ensuring an accurate and well-managed event.
Early Entry Perks
Runners who register by midnight, 30th September will also receive a free technical running shirt from 42k Running, included in their entry.
A Proven Favourite
The Corofin Loop has quickly established itself as a highlight of the local running calendar, drawing athletes from across the county and beyond. With scenic routes, strong community support, and professional organisation, the 2025 edition is expected to be another sell-out.
Entries are now open, and with demand expected to be high, early registration is strongly advised.
