Ferbane AC at Ballyskenagh AC 5K – Race 6 of the Healthy Offaly Series

Race 6 of the Healthy Offaly 5K Road Race Series took place on Friday, 30th May in Ballyskenagh, with the switch from Sunday mornings to Friday evenings proving a big hit—evident from the huge attendance.
As always, Ballyskenagh AC delivered a flawlessly organised event. From car parking and stewarding to the famous post-race refreshments, every detail was looked after. The route, which brings runners past the scenic Cistercian Monastery, remains one of the most popular on the circuit.

Athlete Spotlight – Sinead Greene
A special congratulations to Sinead Greene, one of Ferbane AC’s rising stars. After running a strong 5K on Friday night, she went on to compete in the Senior Girls Final of the 800m at the Schools Track & Field Championships in Tullamore the following day.
A double effort in two very different races, and a brilliant example of determination and team spirit. Well done, Sinead!
