Moyne AC Club Notes (week ending September 1)

Presentation to Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre Thurles.

On Wednesday evening we presented a cheque to Mary Callahan and Anna Ryan of Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre for €1525 from our recent Olympic Fundraiser. Firstly, I would like to congratulate the winner of the competition Enda Joyce of Duggan Veterinary Supplies Thurles. Enda kindly donated the €150 prize money back to our fundraiser for Suir Haven which was greatly appreciated. I would like to thank everyone that took the time to share and to promote the fundraiser. I would also like to thank each and everyone who entered the competition and to everyone that helped in making it happen. I would also like to thank Tigh Maighne for collecting donations and to the various businesses that advertised the fundraiser in their premises. This money raised will go to all the amazing services provided by Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre in Thurles.
